Letter to Linnea - Susannah McKenzie, age 9

Dear Linnea,

My 9 yr old daughter Susannah and I were talking this morning (!) about how 'Like a Rock' needs more verses. Susannah loves animals, so anything animals is in. And then we thought plants and trees would be a good focus for another verse. So here's what she showed me about 1/2 an hour later. Cool, huh?!

Like a tree, like a tree God stands tall over all
Like a rose in the garden, God is beautiful more
Like a leaf falling down, God touches the ground
Like a bee inside his flower, our home is in God evermore
Like a lion, like a lion, God is mighty and strong
Like a shepherd in the field, God looks after us all
Like a dove in the sky, God is soaring above
Like a worm in her cocoon, our home is in God evermore.
