A Gift for You

David and I have just returned from a whirlwind weekend with the CGIT in Regina and have brought home t-shirt, button, pin (I already had the teddy bear) and lovely memories. The CGIT is the United Church institution: Canadian Girls in Training. This year marks the organisation's 90th Anniversary, nationally, hence the celebration on the prairie this week.

I send along to you the theme song that I created out of the 90th anniversary theme: Steps to Tomorrow. Needless to say, hearing a group of young women singing it together was very moving for me! Unlike the last song that I wrote for the organisation (Part of Everything), this song does not make reference to CGIT or its purposes. This one will be very appropriate for High School or other graduations, or marking important occasions.
