Rev Dan has ministered as a pastor and preacher for over 28 years. He draws deeply from the bible as he shares messages of faith and hope. He and his wife of 34 years, Sandra, have four adult children who share their God-given gifts of music, care, compassion and professional training for the blessing of others.
With a special heart for community building in multicultural settings, worship music, using drama to share the gospel, and peacemaking,
Dan’s ministry has often taken him to the front lines, where reconciliation and compassion are most needed. From his volunteer leadership with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship in his youth to intercultural conflict resolution in the pastorate, he has sought to be an emissary of Christ . A dramatist from his young adulthood when he travelled with the itinerant theatrical gospel troupe the Covenant Players, he continues to use the arts, music and other creative skills like wood working, carving and building, in which he sees many expressions of creativity and faith. His extensive involvement in the Disability community of L'Arche has been formative as he lived in three Communities, was Founding Director of L'Arche Saint John, and served on Boards in L'Arche Greater Vancouver.
