Pre-Piano for Children
Some musical things are best done with others. And being in a group can allow you to listen and play together, making music the teamwork that it can be!
At ArtSpirit Summerland Studio, music lessons begin in small groups, with an emphasis on singing, rhythm, games, listening to take part in making sound - a Kodaly-inspired approach.
Children 4-5 years old can get started with beginning musical fun and skills in Chickaboom! - a seasonal group of five. Click on the poster.
Children 6-8 have a four-person seasonal group to develop musical literacy and move toward playing piano: Prepare2Play. Click on the poster.
